Hi, I'm Gwen. I live in Duluth, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. I've always lived in the good ole' South. Years ago, I started working in the computer field, but, as my family grew, I stopped trying to get computers do what I told them to do, and started trying to get kids do what I told them to do. I spent years teaching preschool, serving as a Girl Scout leader, and volunteering in schools, church and community.
My husband Rob and I have 4 kids, Will, Addie, and Meredith, who are out working in the world, another day, another dollar; and LeeAnn, who is currently in college.
I started writing a blog to capture some of the thoughts that travel through my brain. I hereby state that I make no promises that everything is factual. I am writing about events the way I remember them, and I acknowledge that there might be mistakes or misconceptions. I write to help me deal with life and all the complications that occur. It's my way of trying to make sense of things. Please pardon grammatical mistakes and general butchering of the English language. I tell it like I think it.
I invite you to sit back, relax, and read a bit. Feel free to leave comments, but, please, don’t be too hard on me. My delicate Southern psyche might not be able to take it. Don’t you be stealing anything I write—copyright by me.
